Parents getting a remarried?

both of my parents got remarried and i refused to go to ther weddins, i hate both of their fiancees (or i should say new husband/wife) my moms boyfriend is a jerk and my dads girlfriends is a . my mom wanted me to be her maid of honor and i told her no and she cried but i told her i didn't care because i hated this marriage idea. and my dads fiancee asked me to be a bridesmaid and i said no and she got all pissy and my dad got mad but again i told them i didn't care. i didn't go to their wedding and they both told me they missed me but again i didn't care because i never approve of this situation, they tell me its to normal for me to feel this way and that i should be happy for them but i was wondering is it normal????
