Does the O2 Text and Web Tariff include email?

I am using the O2 Text and Web tariff - �15 a month for unlimited texts and unlimited internet. My friend recently bought a new phone and is giving me her BlackBerry Pearl - I was wondering, does this tariff include email? Or does it charge? I emailed O2 but it's been 24 hours and they haven't replied. Also as I'm getting the BlackBerry tomorrow I'd like to know. Thank you
