Help? Please? Issues at home?

My grandparents came to spend the holidays with us, they drove all the way from SC. Yesterday, my grandpa started throwing up and was rushed to the Emergency Room. He just got over cancer and heart surgery, so it was a really big deal. And my grandma just got over chemotherapy. So they're in the hospital now and my dad is all sad. He's moping around the house and is acting all sad. And to top it all off, his stupid girlfriend just broke up with him or something. What can I do??? Can I do anything to help my dad? It's the holidays he's supposed to be merry....
