Question for wives: To be or not to be "suzy home maker"... ???

I've recently stopped working and am nearing the end of my pregnancy. Been married just over year and have never been a "stay at home wife/mother" even though it's just temporary until I start work again after the baby is here. My husband and I have already talked about me not having to be a "suzy homemaker" or more of a "typical stay at home wife" just becuase I'm not working right now, but I feel like I should be that way or that he may really want it even though he doesn't expect it... and I'm not sure if I'm up for it at the same time but it's not like I don't have time to amidst the other things I'm doing... I am going to talk to him about it again I just wanted to see what other wives had to say about their own experiences. Any wives feel the same?
