Lending a helping hand to others in need: is it possible to get burned out while doing this?

You cannot be there life long transportation. THEY are selfish and manipulative for taking adventage of you. Trust me, if people want to go somewhere they will find a ways. You won't heal the world and doing such favors for an extanded period of time is like a promise that it will last forever. Give them heads up that you can't or won't do it. They need to grow up.
