Why is my itchy and red can some one please tell me???

Last night I fingered myself and today all through school my whole was itchy and when I got home I checked it and it was red and the lips were kinda puffy I'm not sure if this is serious but I don't want to go to the doctors because I'm not telling my mom I'm 14 and it hurts I put powder on it a few minutes ago but it didn't work can someone please tell me what I can do with out my moms knowing Orr doctors???
